I am wondering about this egg what do you guys think ..... Also the other eggs I can see into look great and the 6 bcm eggs I have no clue lol

Yes, that looks like a blood ring. Good luck with you other 6 eggs though.

I just put 15 Sebright eggs in my Hova Bator incubator today! They rested overnight and arrived all the way from Kentucky yesterday. I am in Washington State. So the humidity here is much higher, the temps colder and the altitude is sea level. Ran the incubator for 5 days before setting the eggs, temps hover between 37 and 38 degrees centigrade and humidity is about 70, can't get it much lower because our humidity here is 94%. I have the incubator in the driest and warmest room in the house. Just to compare the differences, I have another incubator which I put in my very cool, but insulated RV. I always have luck with that incubator, and its always in the RV. I have a batch of Japanese Bantam and Seramas in that one. I am really really hoping this turns out because I have two little Seramas, 2 Olandsk dwarves, and 2 Americauna pairs (pullets/roosters) that need company. There is warmth in numbers!

It sounds like it's been quite busy here since I checked in last! My heart goes out to each person who had a loss! I also send big hoorays and congratulations to all who have hatched so far!
I had a bit of an issue, seems resolved, with Mima's eggs. After hatching a beautiful clutch of 3of her own eggs plus 4more adopted eggs from two hens she started laying again super early.
When she started sitting on a bunch of fake eggs, I gave her 5eggs that I'd saved in good condition and foolishly added 2 that I found hidden which ended up broken.
It was impossible to tell if she had broken the eggs knowing they were bad or if one of the large chicks had accidentally jumped on them.
Thankfully the egg breaking stopped. I also moved the 4large chicks she'd hatched of the large hens eggs so she has a more peaceful environment.
All that is to simply say she is now on 5eggs, day 10.

OMG The last unhatched chick is still alive!!! I am not equipped to handle this! I started opening it up to do an eggtopsy, and it started moving! Holy cow! I moistened the membrane, wrapped it in a wet washcloth, and put a heat lamp over it. I hope it works! The poor thing! The egg has been left alone for several hours. When I brought it in to open it, I saw a little hole, but I did not realize it was a pip, I thought it had been pecked by a hen. I could see nothing from candling, so I started at that hole and started breaking away pieces. The beek was right there, and that is when it started moving.

Wow he is beautiful!

Thank you! I affectionately call him my "yard art!" Now I hope I can hatch some hens for him and make beautiful offspring! Incubation Day 3. Just began turning the shipped eggs and keeping humidity in 30s as recommended by other "shipped egg hatchers!" Can't wait to candle!

Hope all goes well :)

Thanks! I was totally unprepared for something like this... also, I forgot to mention, this is one of the 4 from the other nest. I am so glad I didn't dispose of them a week ago!

I'm am so addicted to hatching, I have 24 chicks 1 day - 2 weeks and another 40 in the bator. I have a nice verity of brown and blue layers and my Silverrudd roo to add green genetics. Can't wait until they are old enough to lay. Time to start selling some chicks to help cover costs, lol, and so I can keep hatching !!!
