I have a broody hen who has a mix of eggs she is sitting on . We are due around the 28th ...yippee
This is my first hatching and I have a mixture of Americanas and buffs

The grandsons and I put 3 dozen donated eggs unknow breeds in the incubartor due to hatch the 16th this Sunday we are excited being as we have never hatched eggs before I sure hope at least a few of the hatch . Don't want to disappoint the young ones you know, If this hatch goes well I will try silkie eggs next providing I can find some that I can afford. Wish us luck!!!

I just saw this thread! Can I join the fun? I have a bakers dozen jumbo coturnix eggs due to hatch on the 22 of November. Woot!!

Cherlyn...I have 6 week old seramas too! How fun! I'm pretty sure I got a pair too...a cockerel and a pullet.

Nope we just scaled down a bit to concentrate on just a few breeds that we will be showing.

I just realized...Since the egg I grabbed from the laundry room that was all old and porous and nasty is actually developing...I didn't think it would. I just put it in there on a lark because I was setting the duck eggs and I really didn't want to put it in the fridge for eating...Anyway, I have one for November 20. Here's hoping Dirty Bird hatches.
