12 Runner Duck Eggs are set ! Excited about these guys! If they hatch my wife wants to give them Halloween type names! LOL

Aw, my little busted yolk chick is fading. I have been trying to feed him a yolk concoction but he has given up. I am now just holding him in my hand till he dies and singing him Amazing Grace so at least he hears something pretty and feels loved

Me too... i'm sorry to hear your sad news...

you mentioned earlier you are hatching experimental eggs (having been refrigerated for 2 weeks)

i find this amazing... and am keen to have an update.

have you tried this before? or heard of others trying it?

i read somewhere that eggs 2 months old when incubated hatched, but find it hard to believe...

Still no progress since yesterday morning BUT at least now I can hear the little thing peeping and pecking so she is trying. It will be easier to wait it out knowing that she is still alive.

Well, had 2 of my 8 Easter eggs pip on day 20 and lots of peeping. This morning, one little sweet yellow chick from a pink egg is telling the others to get up! already!
