Setting up my bator now for a test run of a dry hatch. Want to watch it several days and see what happens with my humidity and temp. I read on the dry hatch thread to keep the temp at 101 in a still air. I have always read 102 elsewhere, but I guess it's lower for a dry hatch? Thinking on tinkering with a lower wattage bulb. You remember the horrid temp spikes last time! Trying to avoid that and may be able to if I'm running at a lower temp. Also moved the bator into my bedroom. I had it in an area near a door. The door doesn't open often BUT I think it may be drafty. Could impact my humidity. Trial run, here goes nothin'!!

Sorry if you are sick of seeing this little baby fuzzybutt, but I just LOVE her! She is so attached since she's a lone chicky. This is how she likes to spend every moment that I'm home. Sorry for the scary pic of me. Allergies are CRAZY right now for me! I'm thinking of naming this baby Domino. It was my 6 year olds idea. 4 year old suggested Strawberry but I thought we should save that one for a red baby. We get plenty of those!
