November/December "Hatch-a-Long"

No my Cayuga is due 10/20.
But out of ten eggs in lockdown, 6 have hatched. 5 black one blonde

go max! That's awesome!

It was late when I got home and all Max's jammies are too small, so we went to bed with out them.  Max didn't poop in bed!!!!  Yeah Max!   One steo closer to potty training my turkey.

Yeah!  Is it the cayuga?

I was moving an egg that was ready for lock down...I dropped it and killed the chick...lost too much blood...my heart hurts

if they were wiggling that's a good sign
all you can do is wait...keep the humidity up

I have seen mine do that but the hen usually tells him off

She was running from him but didn't want to stray too far from her eggs. I separated him and she took a small break then returned to her batch.

I think Max is in love with my feet. Every evening when we sit on the bed and I strech my legs out straight in front of mewith my feet up, Max comes at them in a strange sideways dance wings hanging down. Then Max circles my feet trying to climb up them a few times, gives up and goes to take a nap. MAybe Max is a confused boy.

I did this once and was so upset with myself.
It just slipped right out of my fingers...................
