Ok thank you! What can I do to keep a chick from being too lonely as she is the only one ?

Give her a mirror so she thinks she has company also a feather duster or a stuffed animal in the brooder gives them something to snuggle up to.

how's the flock today?

No new deaths so far But the young Isbar pullet whose mouth and throat I had to clear still doesn't want to eat or drink so I keep bringing her back in the house and trying to feed her and make her drink some. My malpositioned Marans cross is still sitting pretty in her egg, not quite ready to come out yet.

but none so far.

I just did a flat test on my remaining seven, six floated, one sank. So I am less worried.

Best packaging I have ever seen. And large eggs for legbars
