November/December "Hatch-a-Long"

I know this wasn't directed at me, but chances are probably slim they'll hatch

I had the PO destroy an egg shipment on me, and it wasn't even the packaging. I'd gotten eggs from this person before and they were perfect. Honestly it looked like someone had on purpose banged the package around trying to break the eggs, and mostly succeeded. The box was covered in egg yolk and so were the surviving eggs and I had to wipe them down. In the end the survivors were just too scrambled and damaged to hatch.

Wow. I am speechless.

People are just horrible sometimes.

when we get a miserable package like that all we can hope for is at least the one! good luck with yours!:hugs

this girl is so fired up that I addressed her lack of packing skills that she keeps firing off emails to me...I've answered the last time I'm going to!:th

Ya I don't blame u at all! I can't complain my were pack nice and snuge! Just toold to lok to get here I think and shipping was hard on them not her fault but it really suck that only one is viable

HELP!!!!!! My hen ate her pipping egg/chick! (aleegedly, presumably) Earlier when I went out there I saw the hole, where I assume the chick had pipped. I just went out again and saw blood all on her face and nothing in the egg. I wouldn't think she could consume a whole chick and not leave even a tiny fiber of it left. I'm thinking the egg wasn't fully developed and was still early in phase for her to have consumed it only leaving the hollow shell and some slime. Any suggestions on if this may be the case or am I dealing with a cannibal chicken? I don't want her to eat her babies that are hatching!!!! I'm scared for them!

I don't hold out any hope...I've had eggs that weren't damaged this bad that had no chance...but familypendragon had a pretty bad incident of scrambling and I was wondering if she had any from that batch hatch...

I have some leghorns due this Saturday that I saw my post lady drop...2 were broken but I have 3 going strong out of 12...

just maybe I'll get 1 out these

now she messaged me that if I contact her again she'll contact ebay that I'm harassing her!!!! there is something wrong with her!!!
well I bit!! I messaged her back...just had to....I said ebay recommends we communicate and she should do what she needs to do.

mind you all I asked is that she rethink her packaging!

You can leave her follow-up feed back btw, look for the feedback forum and you can add additional info. Give me her userid and I will buy something from her and leave her a neg. I like harassing mean people, and maybe I'll get a couple chicks out of it!
