November/December "Hatch-a-Long"

oh I was thinking duck eggs...how many look good? what breed...are they shipped?

I saw an air cell in two for sure. The others I can't be sure, but they have dark areas that don't float around when I turn the egg, which I read is what the yolk will do (?). I have six, and they were not shipped, but they did spend the day in the car running errands with me and then 90 min back to my house. They are mix Red SexLink and... White Leghorn I think.

I am hoping you have a good hatch. What day?

Quote: well they would have to spike over 110 degrees for that to be a problem...but I've candled white eggs that I didn't see veins in until the 7 or 8th day...unless....they aren't fertile...the roosters are slowing down now...the girls are in control of the fertilizing and they can remain fertile for months...but 2 of my sexlinks last eggs weren't fertile...it's just that time of year...

if the yolk is attached that's a good sign...you should know with in a few days
