Five Little Seramas!

They started as 14 shipped eggs. Half went into the Brinsea mini and half under my broody Silky. Five went into lockdown. Brinsea 1, Silky 4. I know the incubation method to use next time. Ooops, did I say, "Next time"?

did you candle the eggs? you would want to make sure they haven't internally pipped before you put them in water....yes it would bobble around if it's got a live chick...it's way too soon to give up on them they could take up to 25 days for various reasons!

Thanks for reminding me! I forgot to mention I did candle them first! Def did not see internal pips either. I haven't been confident of my candling skills all along, but I could def see the air cells in tact on both eggs. They are very dark eggs, so beyond that at this point all I'm really seeing is that below the air cell is filled with dark mass.

Update: So glad I didn't give up just yet!! My egg that was shaking originally is shaking again now!!! Maybe at least one chick soon?? yay!!!!

just based on what you've said I wouldn't be surprised if they are both alive....they have lots of humidity?

I did the float test and the one that wiggled did not hatch..the one that I thought was dead, hatched..........
Give them more time
