November/December "Hatch-a-Long"

I am looking to set just a few eggs! I am in Washington State and cant find anyone who has the eggs I want! I am looking for Ameraucana and Jersey Giant eggs! Anyone have advice on where to go for them?

Thanks

e-bay, there was a couple of postings of people in Ore, and Washington that were offering hatching eggs. Put Poultry or fertile eggs in search should bring you results.
Best of Luck

well remember the other day I woke up and the brooder was soaking wet, the chicks were soaking wet and the temp was down to 80???

I now have a faverolle with the rattles!! UGH!!!

I'm so exhausted from getting up to check the temps the last few nights and now 1 is sick! no one else seems sick...picked them up to listen close for rattling....watched for a long time to see if anyone sneezed or shook their head and they all check out except the one...I made her a nursery in a little incubator that wasn't in use...so I know she's toasty warm in there

I wear the sick chick around my neck to stay warm. They get so sad when they are alone. And everywhere I go people love my chicklace. I bring vitamin water in a bottle with a dropper and a baggie of chick start with me. One of those chicks is the one that woke me up with cuddles this morning. Anytime I have left a chick alone, they just seem to get worse. But they coud recognize me for the sucker that I am.
Coming in late to this thread. I have 21 BCM eggs in the incubator right now. I started them last Wednesday. :) This is my first time hatching.
Wow, I'd love to have an incubator with the lid see thru. Which one is that? Do you like it?

my baby quail i hatched back in august hatch a long that are 8/9 weeks old now have started laying so once i have 6-8 eggs(which should be in 3 or 4 days since i have 2 girls now laying) i'm going to incubate them and see if i get any babies so i will most likely be joining this hatch a long

I did a lockdown humidity test on my homemade incubator, and I had no problem maintaining temp and humidity throughout the day. As long as it maintains the temp overnight, I am starting my first ever hatch tomorrow!!

Some of my new babies. 4 so far, one almost completely zipped didn't make it. Momma had pushed it aside and when I got to it it was already cold. :(. Maybe 2 more hatch tonight.
