November/December "Hatch-a-Long"

Quick question! Tomorrow is lockdown for my 13 eggs. I THINK one egg is moving a little already. Should I go ahead and jump up my humidity to lockdown levels, or hold out until tomorrow??

Should also probably remind everyone that I had TWO big temp spikes overnight. Maybe babies hatching early??

the grass here has been frosted/frozen since they hatched. If it gets decent, I have a temporary pen so they could get a little grass and see the sun for the first time. Kinda sad that they haven't =\ I give them watercress, mustard greens and kale ("chicken salad") every day! kinda like grass? ;)
Better than grass!

Max stayed home alone for the first time. Well, not really alone. I left my dog, Daisy to babysit. Max was upset with me but just fine when I returned.

He still uses his heating pad like a blankie. And if it isn't on and warm he pecks at it. He gets too hot and pants when he sits on it but he can't go long without his blankie. He is so silly. Since his heating pad is tiger striped, I bought him a real blanket that is tiger striped. I am hoping he will switch to it instead of getting over heated on the heating pad. Here he is using his new one. Still hasn't given up the other yet.

MAx with his blankie.

Tiny baby Max.

Afternoon nap.

Max helping keep the eggs warm when the power went out.

Who shrank my blankie?

raise it some

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. Thought it probably wouldn't hurt to be a little higher at this point. Better than too low if one decides to be an early hatcher in the middle of the night tonight or something. But I learned my lesson last time, patience, patience, patience! They will probably take their sweet time, which is fine by me! I intentionally set this hatch so it would happen when I'm on a break from work! (I'm a teacher, so on Thanksgiving break.) Almost time to meet these babies! Going to do one more candle tonight before lock down in the morning!!!
