chicks are hard to photograph they keep moving, this is egg with pip- first pip to right, first hatcher to left
this chick looks bad cause she just hatched and has a bit of shell stuck to her, I will remove it when she is more stable if it doen't just fall off.,she is ginger colored- that is not blood. the feathers were damp and sticking to her pink skin.

I wish my dog was that trust worthy! Lol she was born, raised and trained to hunt so to her any bird she can get a hold of needs to go in her mouth then to my feet!

The other older ones are getting big, too, but the first one is the only one with a standard size parent, so they'll always be smaller than him.
