i was wrapping the eggs getting ready to ship tomorrow am... one of them rolled right off the counter... BLAH!!!!
so i'm hoping they decide to lay tomorrow am before the post office closes....

on a side note... we did a swap... i'm sending eggs to the same person i got my eggs from....
my son wanted to write a not on the paper i was putting inside the box... i thought i'd let him sign his name on it..
well he asked me how to spell P.S. ... lol...
then he had me write out the rest so he could copy it... so BirdMom, when you get this, the translation is.....

Evonne, that's sweet! I love how kids around chickens become such wonderful caretakers. My kids just melt around them. My daughter's our "bird girl!"

I hope some of the eggs I sent hatch. I'm sure they'll like the weather where you are a bit better than their mamas are liking our cold snap right now! Of course, we're at normal temp for here for now, but we've had a lot of warm weather interspersed with the cold, so it keeps throwing the girls off their laying schedule. We get a couple cold days, they almost all quit laying for a day or two. As soon as it's warmish again or they get used to the cold, right back to an egg a day from each.

Looking forward to getting eggs from you to hatch! As everyone here says, chickens/ducks/guineas/birds of all sorts are addicting!
