So crazy cute!!!   5/7 is pretty great for shipped eggs.   Congrats!!

Thanks! My first time hatching too. They came from Papa's Poultry in Redding, CA. He did an amazing job packing the eggs!

5 of my 7 shipped eggs hatched. I had one early quitter and I am waiting another day of the last, but I don't think it is viable. I candled it and the air cell looks huge. Here are some pics of my ridiculously adorable babies!

I'm still waiting on 5 eggs but I'm so happy with my 8 chicks!! Also my pullets egg hatched and is a beautiful little girl!!!! I think one of my eggs that I thought had a pipped doesn't, so that would mean that only 2 eggs need to pip and the other 3 are almost zipped. I had to put the first 2 monsters in the brooder so they would stop beating up the new ones! Hope with my next update they are done hatching Hope everyone has a great night!

First chick out is dried off now and 24 hours old. The second chick just hatched and it is to early. It is half the size of the first one out and has more of the yolk sac not absorbed! Not sure if it will make it or not.

Here is the first baby. Dad is a BR and mom is a RIR

Four more hatched! One blue, and one splash olive egger, one Jersey Giants and another maran. My other Serama finally pipped as well as the two Isbars!

Everyone doing well so far! Two more eggs left to pip... One olive egger and a maran that I think might be a goner anyway...

Opened the incubator today to turn and smelled something funny. I had a bad egg in there! Found it quick though becuase I separated my "maybes" at the last candle. Picked up the one I thought and gave it a sniff. No mistaking that smell!!!!

I had separated my maybe from my viable. One exploded in the bator. I have one more duck egg to go and I'm done. Ready to clean that sucker out. Have one vent hole open and want to puke every time I walk past it. I feel bad for the duck in there
