November hatch along

3 days left! I think I need to candle tonight and lockdown. Mine are bantams and my silkies usually hatch day 19. Fingers crossed for my shipped eggs! All the air cells seem to be normal which is a first!

I am dying to know what’s happening with our eggs. I haven’t heard or seen anything since the brief glimpse at yesterday’s pipped egg, so I have no idea if that chick has hatched, is still hatching or something else altogether. This is killing me!

I candled today. I didn't have to pull any!
Of the first set (21 eggs), 16 have made it to lockdown.
4/5 Bielefelder
5/7 Blue Isbar
7/7 Cream Legbar
One of the BI and one of the CL may have quit, but I have them to the side, just in case. I saw movement in all of the others.

Still viable in the 2nd set on Day 16:
3/4 Olive eggers
1/4 Easter Eggers
2/4 Ameraucana
Still viable in the 3rd set on Day 14:
3/4 BCM (maybe 1 quitter)
2/2 Turkens
4/4 EE
2/2 GLW

I am at home, but the eggs are under a hen. I am scared to pick her up and check, as I don’t want to be the cause of a failed hatch.
