CONGRATS!!!!! HOW EXCITING! I need details. Did she lay in the nest box? Which pullet laid it? My chicks hatched a week later... soooo hopefully I'll get an egg within the next 4 days or so! EEK!

Do you have other laying hens? Mine all lay in the same box so im sure she just followed along with the "rules" of the flock lolShe’s so cute!!! Look at her!!! I’m impressed her first egg was in the nest box. I’m about to go out there and take some photos of the ones that I think are close.
Nope! My first chicks ever!!! So they have no one to follow. Although they’ve been squatting for over 10 days and today one of them did the egg laying song in conjunction to a neighbors chicken doing the song. Lol. They joined the chorus.
