I'm guess I'm glad I checked one last time before I spent $30+ on suntuf panels and the screws and wavy things! If I'm back to planning to use another roofing option - what would you creative experts suggest? I have two pieces of thick plywood sized 31.75"x48" and I had thought about screwing them side by side with mending plates and a lot of caulk in the seam, and then painting it several coats of semi-gloss paint - and then could I screw right through the plywood into the studs and supports in the coop? That makes a bigger roof than I really need - but I don;t own a saw that can cut plywood. Another option could be to go to Home Depot and ask them to cut my a thinner piece of plywood to 46"x58" and paint that and screw that onto the supports in the coop. That costs money (and I'm not sure how I could transport a piece of plywood that big back home) - but I could use lighter plywood and it would be a single piece. Are there other easy effective ways to do a shed roof? Please share your ideas with me!!
