Now I'm confused.....!!???

Well lock down is tomorrow morning. So I went ahead and candled this morning. Started with 20 eggs. 5 where infertile. Those where thrown out last week. So out of 15 only 4 are going tomorrow.

I cracked one open and it looked like a bean with the eye forming when died. So I'm guessing around day 10ish or so. So back to the drawing board to figure out why!!

Interesting observation. I'm new to this you know so don't think I stupid.

But for the heck of it I lowered the temp to 99 these gages only go up and down 1 degree. But when I did that the humidity went from 47% to 51%. When the temp changes to 100 degrees the humidity goes back to 47%. HMMMM!!! Almost instantly. Sort of interesting to me. LOL

I'm locking down today, might be a day to soon since I had a temp. drop. I'll up humidity tomorrow, I think my air cells are small so I don't want to drown them. While marking them last night one was wobbling, first time I've seen one do that. Strong movement on 15 and 2 questionable, not bad for the 20 fertile eggs at day 7. The other 10 I started with were infertile, guess Dude isn't found of Munchie.
Here are the air cells, just have to wait and see how it goes.

I did use pencil until day 18. I used Sharpie for final marking hoping it will be easier to see any pipping below air cell. They are much wetter than my first hatch, guess it's part of the learning curve, more experienced hatcher haven-'t shown much concern so we'll see.

Due to hatch tomorrow. Had movement Sunday Monday when I first locked them down. Now nothing since yesterday morning. Very disheartening.

I had a moment of weakness this morning and candled the 2 guestionable one, movement in both of them! I left the others alone and humidity is back up to 60-65%, I was quick.

I'll keep you in my thoughts. They are resting up before the big event. I'm checking for rocking also and not seeing any either.

I was soooo tempted to do the same. Just to know if there's still life.

I been sitting here all day looking at the window like a TV screen just to see something reasureing. They are driving me crazy. I wasn't like this when my 2 kids were born.

I guess because I knew. This I don't know. HATE IT!!!

I had to re-arrange for lockdown, I loaded 32 to start with and have 16 still going. I transfered them to a 18 pack carton, while doing this one was rocking like crazy, haven't seen it move since. I know how you feel.
