Not silly at all. To seal in a jar, you would use a canning jar and Lid Only, place the vac sealer attachment for jars securely on top, then follow the vac sealer's instructions. Ours is to press the vac/seal button and the removal of air and sealing of the jar begins. Takes about 1 minute. I add an O2 absorber before I seal.Maybe a silly question, but how do you seal them? I've only ever seen people freeze dry eggs, not dehydrate, but I would LOVE to dehydrate them! Also, could you just vacuum seal excess in a mylar bag for long term, instead of jars?
You can use mylar bags w O2 absorber. Remove as much air as possible before sealing the bag.
