If it were me, that would be the end of the free eggs, and I would seriously consider finding a new church. How very ungrateful and rude of them.

If someone had a fruit tree, would they reject the fruit because one was bruised? They need to apologise to you and also to those they told that your eggs were bad.

BTW, we do not have roosters, and I get the occasional blood spot, esp. when a pullet is new at laying. Big whoop.

If I were in your shoes, I would never bring eggs to church again and never sell to anyone at church. If people ask, simply tell them, "Well, some of the members here were erroneously telling others that my eggs were bad and not to buy from me, so rather than continue to fuel their ignorance, I decided to do the Christian thing and not put them in a position where they feel the need to talk about me, but feel free to ask other members of the church to bring in fresh eggs that didn't come from production facilities where the birds are treated every way EXCEPT the way the Lord intended."

Thank you all for your responses. It makes me feel really good. These are just a few people at church that did this. Most of the people are good people. We have a wonderful Pastor. I am going to speak to him about this. If this had happened a year ago when my hubby and I 1st started going there the words that would have come out of my mouth and my actions would have been very non-christian. I have changed alot in the past year. For the good. I will not let these people run me off. But I also will not provide them anymore free eggs. But I just wanted to say thank you all again.
