She's not by herself, she lives with the chickens.Don't they breed in water? I was thinking that she quacks at night since she is lonely. Ducks are social creatures

Well, she's still technically 'by herself'She's not by herself, she lives with the chickens.
I guess I can just let them be and if he kills her, there's nothing I can do. It seems I'm the only one concerned about her staying uninjured but oh well.. I should listen to the people on the internet...Well, she's still technically 'by herself'
She should be with other ducks. Maybe she doesn't want to be with chickens. You said she is limping? Does she seem hurt? I don't know what to tell you.. maybe just put her with the drake and see how it goes? Or just deal with the quacking?
You're the one asking for advice. We are just giving advice as many of us have had ducks for years. You don't have to listen, it's your duck. You do what you feel is best. The duck is obviously quacking at night for a reason. We're trying to help you figure out 'why'I guess I can just let them be and if he kills her, there's nothing I can do. It seems I'm the only one concerned about her staying uninjured but oh well.. I should listen to the people on the internet...
Your putting human emotions on a couple of Ducks and sorry your not understanding the behaviour.I did leave them alone for a day, she was limping and had bald spots
Don't get upset because you have to learn a few things first about Ducks..I guess I can just let them be and if he kills her, there's nothing I can do. It seems I'm the only one concerned about her staying uninjured but oh well.. I should listen to the people on the internet...
He first has to dominate her and get her to submit to him. No duck breeding is pretty..She's back in with him. He has her pinned down and she's struggling to get away but I'll just let them be since it's normal
And he's pulling feathers off her but I'm going to help her. He still hasn't let her up yet but oh well.He first gas to dominate her and get her to submit to him. No duck breeding is pretty..
