Wow, you all have way too much time on ur hands....LOL!

What a horrible seller! I can't believe this guy is acting this way! I don't think the 'buyer' was a real buyer, either, I know I would LOVE for someone to care enough to give me the heads up about something like this. I would have bought the item under false pretenses from the seller, and I would've been P.O.'d. Ebay would immediately know, and I would be requesting my money back. There's no way to tell what you get in hatching eggs until you hatch them and they grow up. That's just rotten! The auction is over, otherwise I'da given him a piece of my mind as well! It's one thing to take a pic that doesn't have a copyright to mislead ur buyers, and another to defend your shady actions after you've been busted!

Alpha Roo,

You're right, I couldn't drag the photo off the page. But...

In Internet Explorer, hover your curser over a picture until the toolbar opens at the top of the image. Then click save. I've got Hope saved on my desktop, but I have "hope" you'll come up with something to disable that.

While you're at it, perhaps you can come up with something to fry the seller's hard drive the next time he steals images. Oh, one can only hope.

Good luck.

Wayne

I've taken screen captures of images I wanted/needed for whatever reason (not stolen chook pics... more like "this hoser on ebay protected his images and I want to show it to my friend without 'forwarding to a friend'".

I guess all the computer machinations about photo copying is kind of on topic, but all you young computer nerds lost me about 15 posts ago. I would like to know how Jean came out with her complaint to Ebay about the pirated picture, and the rude answers she recieved from both the buyer and the seller.

We're just quietly talking amongst ourselves while waiting for Jean to report the next development in the saga.

And thanks. I'm probably the oldest "young computer nerd" you'll ever meet. My programming days began back in the days of DOS and 286 PCs.

Once again sort of off topic, but I want to respond to Wayne. I went to the trouble of looking up DOS. Compared to me you're just a kid.
