when you click on the link for the picture, all it is, is a picture. It's not a website, unless I'm missing something. That person is full of crap. I already reported them for misrepresentation and illegal usage of a copyrighted photo. Hopefully they will get banned with the wonderful stuff that is going on here with their replies to Pips.

Only someone who is guilty reacts the way this person is. Duh!

If you right click on the photo & check out the properties you will see the website the guy lifted the photo from.

www.ameraucana.org

Go to photos & click on BUFF HEN under LARGE FOWL, & you will see the pic in question. It's interesting that the website lists no credits for the photo either.

The ABC has a couple of my photos on their website. They have permission to use them. They are for informational/educational use.

I left a message for the site administrator yesterday to see if we could watermark all the photos.

I don't have a problem with someone using the picture for the above stated purposes, but to use it to sell eggs is deceptive.

Even if you disable right-click, all one has to do is take a screen-grab of the picture. If someone's determined to steal your image, they will do it. You just have to kind of decide how much risk you're willing to bear. Prominently displayed copyright statements do act as deterrents to the casual thief, though, like someone just browsing for images.

I have a script you can use on a website that will disable right clicking and copy & paste so no one can copy your images. It will stop most people but not hard core hackers. Not sure what to do about this site except it would only be 100x100. Let me know if you want the script.
