8/10/10 So now these three geese have vanished. There is nothing around my house but woods hay fields and cow pasture. Isnt it odd for birds this young to range out of sight and water?
I guess I am going to stick to pigeons.
If they survive maybe I sould trade the embden to shelly for a chinese haha
Ok I have 6 geese, around 6 weeks old or so. My goose lot is livestock panels that are surrounded by overgrown briars and saplings. I have been trying to plug up the holes they have discovered but they keep finding new ones. I am sure they will eventually be too big to fit through the 4 in by 6 in mesh. How long until they should out grow the holes? Also any guess why the chinese wont leave but the toulouse and embden do? Today they went across a fresh cut hey field over 1/4 mile away. Is this normal?
