Every time I arrive at the garden/coop all of my free-range flock come running to see what treats I have. I know this is pretty common, but...I came back from the store yesterday with groceries, and went to cut up some green for them. They gathered around as I scattered the treats- but I noticed a few were missing. Hmmm- must be on to a good bunch of bugs or something- I thought. I walk over to the jeep to take the rest of my bags to the house. Wouldn't you know- the rest of the hens are in the back of the jeep going through groceries!
