I stumbled across this site while researching chickens and thought I'd jump right in. We don't have chickens yet but we are hoping to in the near future. My hubby and I both like to research a project COMPLETELY before we start. This looks like a good place to get some info. We are total novices and are just starting to gather info. I'd love to get recommendations on resources for getting started. I look forward to learning about chickens.

from Florida and I am fairly new too. Only had my chickens 3-4 months and it's fun. I guess it's like being a new parent, trying to do everything right cause you care so much for the chickens. Glad I have a friend who's had chickens forever so she's a world of wisdom. Hope you have someone like that for you, but if not, find a local club, 4H or a local swap meet. BYC has helped me so much and I am thankful for them..Have a blast
