No I live in NH but I inherited a stray kitten in Tennessee before moving no one would take it and now it's grown up and I really shouldn't have it because my dog wants to eat it so now I have to keep them in separate areas of the house
What a mess
Ya I'm not really experienced with pet cats . We have a lot of feral cats around here. One thing that some of our neighbors know is not to feed feral cats. Because of you do then they will begin populating to their food source and that can mean hundreds of cats. One time we had a couple of neighbors feeding cats and her place was like a cat city . She eventually moved away and I don't recall what happened to the cats after that. Some of them migrated in my woods .So if you are going to feed a cat regularly they probably should be fixed. But other that t hat I enjoy having the feral cats around here .As long as no one is feeding them regularly they don't over populate and they keeps the mice out of my air cleaners and tractor equipment. Sorry tho I don't know what I would do with your kittens.
Feral cats are short lived with the wildlife out here. At least at night. My youngest cat is a great huntress but knows to come in after dark. She's seen things! I just wanted them to be in a safer place and fixed. And I've seen first hand especially in a growing county how overpopulated it can get so wanted them fixed .. About 3 yrs ago they tore down the old pizza hut I worked when I was a teenager and some organization went there prior and found and rescued close to 300 feral cats! Operation pizza hut was held
It was like 1/6 acre dumpster site over grown with brush through the years .The hut was empty about 7 yrs before they did that. It's like an epidemic around here almost ..crazy
