NPIP Certicfication is getting your flock tested be a state tester, for pullorum and maybe a few other specific diseases. It is reguired in order to ship live birds across state lines. A drop of blood is mixed with an antigen to see if it reacts and depending on the color that results. they can determine if your flock is free of the specific diseases they test for.
