NPIP Certification in TEXAS

I was wondering if you could tell me what you found out about NPIP testing in texas? I live in Parker County, have 25 birds and wanted to sell to my local co-op and to the feed store. They said I would need the testing certificate to sell to them. Do you have contact number or the info? I cannot find anything by calling my local agency... they have no idea what this is.
Thanks!
Jackie

I'm trying to decide what I should do. I have peafowl and obviously no one can keep all the peachicks so I sell them on craigslist or other sites from home. Do I need the NPIP certification? Once in a while I sell an adult. This is a hobby but it's nice to make a little to cover some of the expenses to properly care for these magnificent creatures. An apprehension is me having to catch 15 peafowl to be tested. They aren't like chickens that are easily picked up. Do they test each and every one or a percentage? Any information or suggestions would be immensely appreciated.

Are any of you that have peafowl in the Comal County area? Crazy me....I hatched out some Black Australian Swans and kept 2, Gracie and Gunther, almost a year old now. OUCH! if you think your chores take up too much time, try getting waterfowl, LOL!! Love them dearly but they wear me out.

Hi y'all,
Yes, Tx law requires a valid P-T certificate for hatching eggs and poultry, whether chicks, juveniles or adults to accompany the eggs or poultry that leaves your property. A lot of eggs & chickens are sold without the certificate, but it can cause a lot of unnecessary trouble. The testing is free. The man that does my testing is one of the nicest people I've ever met and full of good information, which he's glad to share.
If you want to get your birds tested here's an e-mail & phone number to get it scheduled off my current P-T certificate.

@TheTropix
Wow thanks!!
We were talking about selling some of our flock at an upcoming poultry swap in East Texas, and they require paperwork.
