Quite true. If your crippling shy stay out of the hospital.
I tell DW's story to patients about when her son was born
40+ years ago.
"Now I was pretty loaded so I might not remember it completely right. I'm sure I heard the lady announce over head, "If anyone has not had the chance to look between Urs' legs, report to room 508." I swear I think I remember a line of white coats stretching out into the hall."

It's great when a patient has the same sense of humor as you do.
A lady I cared for about a week was ready for a shower so I got her towels, soap/shampoo, toothpaste, etc. She kept asking about hair conditioner and I tried to explain that we only had the combination available but the poor dear couldn't get it.
I finally brought a second bottle of the product and, in front of her, pulled out my sharpie and wrote SHAMPOO on one and CONDITIONER on the other.
She bust out laughing (luckily) and happily took her shower.
