I'm going to try to give nurses (and medical folks) a place to tell some of their stories and tips especially for young nurses and students.
Remember that HIPPA can be ruthless so no stories even remotely about patients. (That may cut out most of the best stories but those are the rules.)
ALSO, No diagnosing. Give advice at your own risk.
Another warning. I post a lot of memes but I'll try to keep on subject.

When I was getting report at work last week, the day nurse said the patient would take his pills with ice cream.
I thought "What a great idea! I'm going to tell DW the doctor said I need to take my pills with ice cream too."

We were actually taught in school that the best description of "Universal Precautions" was;
"If it's warm, wet and someone else's, don't touch it. Unless your in Love."
