Nurture Right 360 for hatching geese eggs?

I want to caution anyone reading this on using a modified egg turner for goose eggs with the nurture-right 360. I bought one off of Amazon and have tried it with two batches of eggs. Both batches had all eggs quit around day 10-11. I suspect it was because of the way the auto turner moves the goose eggs, too often and always in the same direction. All 14 of my eggs were detached. It seems the auto turner function causes them to wrap around and snap their chorion(embryo membrane) off of the yolk. I’m going to do another two batches in a week and do hand turn only. Fingers crossed!

I have some cooking right now but the turner doesn't work with them.

I bought a goose egg turner from Amazon and watching them hatch now. 5 pipping one already hatched. The turner dies 10 at a time

That’s so interesting. I had two batches 100% die using the auto turner. I’m on day 26 now with hand turning and all 11 look great.

What kind of geese are you hatching?
