Nurture Right 360 for hatching geese eggs?

Oh good! My smallest goose eggs turn but not the big guys.

I check temps with a meat thermometer, not usually the most accurate but using the ice water test this one is closest of the ones I have.

I've got some at day 16 and some at day 8. 7 growers, 4 maybes. Love goslings, can't wait!

I've found my temp read out on mine to be very accurate. . but the read out on the humidity reads lower than my analog hygrometer that I calibrated with the salt test and confirmed accurate.
I haven't had good luck with the digital ones like you have in there being accurate on temp or humidity. :hmm
I have found a fish tank thermometer to be the most reliable and you can easily check it to see if it is accurate by making an ice slurry adding the thermometer and wait to see if it will stabilise at 32 degrees. If it's a little higher or lower than you know how much it is off and adjust accordingly.

I fixed it for now ... they are on lockdown . Sebastopol geese ! I used a screen and a hair tie lol

:weeYa a a a! Great thinking! Chances are it would have been fine. . but I did see a pic of some chick s that looked bloody d up supposedly from getting their heads in there:(
I would think they would have to have been on top of other eggs to do that. . . but you never know. I hope they hatch for you!
