Nurture Right 360 Incubator Humidity

My JANOEL12 incubator right next to it seems to be doing fine with humidity. I have a thermometer/hygrometer in there and the humidity stays between 45-55. I did have to put paper in it to prop the lid open to vent it out. The heat is stable at 99.5 Fahrenheit.
Should I open the vent completely on the Nuture Right 360? It’s 1/3 of the way open now.

I have a nurture 360 and the humidity started off high but then stabilized. Sounds like your built in hygrometer is messed up. But also, looking at your pictures, the pointed ends of the eggs should be facing inwards towards the center

Thank you! I always set them up that way but when the egg turner turns the eggs, sometimes it flips them around.. :/

I was given the advice of putting in the matting you would put into your kitchen cupboards. Eggs turn so much easier and quieter. They just don’t slide. And, when lockdown rolls around, the chicks have some grip.
