Nutrena NatureWise Vs. Nutrena Country Feeds

Can anyone provide experience with Nutrena NatureWise & Nutrena Country Feeds?

I am wanting to know the difference between the two feeds. My hunch is that NatureWise has essential oils & Country Feeds does not. I would greatly appreciate if you can share any experience you have between the two.

My chickens did not like country feeds.

They seem to like all flock the best. I have both hearty hen and all flock and they go straight for all flock.

They like it even better if it's slightly wet and soft, spoiled butts.

From what I saw, the Country Feeds appears to be the economy line. I've used Naturewise Hearty Hen and All Flock and both have worked well.

I haven't used it but according to their site FAQ..

Naturewise does not contain any animal byproduct while the other one in question *may*.

Both will have all the essential amino acids for the age and species listed on their label.

Wow that's a major price difference. When I bought countryfeeds it was like $18 when hearty hens was $20

I only use nutrena naturewise, from feather fixer to meatbirds based on a wide range on what is needed at time. The consistent purchase is there layer crumble or pellets and the all flock pellets. Very good product. The plus is that it makes there poop less stinky vs feeding them Purina all flock.

Country feed is for people that are on a very tight budget. And just need to sustain there birds for a period of time.
