Ive been giving my chick nutridrench for the past 3 days now, but i think i need to switch to corid. Will it be safe to make the switch?
Thankyou

I would wait at least 2 full days. Do you have possible cocci in your flock and that’s why you are dosing with Corid?
I dont know for sure, but im going thru process of elimination. Ive been trying nutridrench, but i dont see improvement. So it seems the next step would be corid??? Chick is weak, eating/drinking very little, not growing at the same rate as the other chicks, always standing off to the side away from other chicks, always looking for heat/momma hen...

Hm, any chance it could be Marek’s? I’m not familiar with that disease as much, but some others are on here. Have you checked for pasty butt? Did you try and feed the chick some of the Nutri-Drench via a dropper? Has she had any bloody poop?

I will tag some others to try and help:

Go ahead and start the Corid now if you wish. Corid is the main treatment for coccidiosis, and you should not wait to start it if it is needed. Thiamine is the vitamin in NutriDrench and other vitamins that should be avoided with Corid. Stop it now, and you can give it after Corid is finished. There is some thiamine in normal chicken feed soI wouldn’t worry about waiting 2 days. We all have our own opinions, and I don’t think there is any problem if you just give the Corid now. I am no expert, just a chicken keeper.

Hard to say what is wrong with it.
How old is chick?
It's with a broody hen?
The other chicks are fine?

i wanted to syringe feed the chick that is showing symptoms, but all the instructions say to mix in water and offer that as their main supply, i have 7 new chicks and 2 momma hens, is it ok for the mommas to drink this water? Is it ok that all the chicks drink this water, even if they appear healthy? My youngest chick is just over two weeks, my sick chick is just over five weeks. Is it safe for all of them including the mommas to drink the treated water????
Thank you
