Nutrition especially for your Peas

So in the end of your research, will there be some new peafowl food? Or just ingredients to mix into a base food. Regarding soybeans, I thought soy was supposed to be eliminated from a peafowl's diet...

Zazouse, did the peas die naturally whose gizzards are pictured on the first page? I never thought to cut open my birds that die.

NO , one died from a sinus infection and the other had blood clots in his heart so i believe he had a heart attack.

I always check them when they die.
I had a chicken hen that I thought was suffering from internal laying, I culled her and when I cut her open I found an egg 2x's the size of a goose egg,

never seen nothing like it in all my years of having chickens

If that's true I'm in big trouble, lol, 'cause it's the first ingredient in the food they like best!

Many folks believe soy should be eliminated because of GMO , No one knows all these GMO grains can do long term yet so they try to eliminate it from their animals diet but lets face it it GMO grains and veggies are every where now whether we want to admit it er not.

Mine don't like it....I've tried getting them to eat it all year. So they just get alfalfa greens and hay which they love.

Has anyone here looked into the advantages of dehulled hemp seeds? I've only found one supplier of it,and they are in California, besides several places in Canada to get it but shipping a few bags will cost more than the hemp itself. It is much, much better than flaxseed and does not go rancid. Anyone here, especially in the possible border states with Canada use this? You can get hempseed oil,but I'm not too keen on spraying it on feed, then mixing it in daily. Excellent source of Omega3 and Omega6
