you are bound to get my hung. I didn't even know what a Wellie was until today. I have several girls, but my breeding coop is now a grow out coop unless Jon let's me build another. He is already on the brink of sticking me in a box and shipping me to my mom. He has to build me a processing building in March and 2 more coops in April. Plus y'all will be here in May tricking me into buying more than I need. You evil poultry people.

I'll have pure Marans - but as Pyxis says - I mostly breed for pure egg color, good size and amount laid in a year - not bird feather color - so I do have a mix of different Marans hens - they are all pure - and come from very good lines - and the roo is a BCM .... the eggs are large and dark - but not the very VERY very darkest a Marans can be. Let me know if you are interested - I also know one person here wants pure BCM -so I was going to separate those hens to get a dozen for her ... I may be able to extend that if you pure coloring as well as pure breed. Right now I have BBS, BCM, cucko/BCM as my hens ....

I will be looking for Welsummer eggs or chicks. I'm looking for pretty egg color, I won't be breeding or showing.

I'm also looking for Old English Game birds, I might breed these if I can find quality birds out there.

Do you have Welsummers ? I love the color and all the speckles !!

My splashed Marans have speckles on their eggs - I could make sure you get a dozen hatching eggs that only have speckles so your chances of that trait coming through are high - but no - no pure welsummer hens right now .... got a roo - but he is for my mixed flock breeding program.
