Lynzi---I have 19 pullets and four nest boxes. They only use two and if the most favored one is occupied, the squawking is nonstop until that girl lays and gets out!

So, my fellow peeps, I am on the hunt for breeder quality blue or splash silkie pullets for my boys. They need some womens before they drive me and Little Man crazy!!! Light blue is good and they must be bearded. Let me know if you know of anyone who has any for sale. I am looking for at least 2 and nothing over a year old.

I hate the week leading up to labor day weekend. Nothing but hordes showing up with wads of scripts wanting them yesterday and doctors sitting on their computers cranking out escripts as fast as possible because they are out the door thursday evening for an extended weekend. I need some jeannie powers so I can just nod my head and everything is done instantly!!!

I like the idea of a fingerlakes get together. I could probably make that one, with enough advanced notice.

I brought home two blue ( i think) breeder quality silkies for my friend. They were from
jerseygirl1. You could try her. What did I do to my print? Well I guess everyone can read it!!!!!

Thank you!!  I am getting fake eyelashes on Wednesday. A mani and pedi on Thursday, and hair done in Manhattan on Friday.  No one is going to know me at work!!!  Of course the first thing I will have to do is get the dirt out from under my nails and leave my loved country bumpkin ways here in upstate!  Thanks again for the well wishes!!!

The eyelashes are put on by a professional. They last 4-6 weeks. If you ask after Wednesday I will be able to tell you more as they will have been done!!

Well, red sex link was on the list of what they carried...they were adorable little yellow chicks, and very nice girls. Probably the next generation will be nothing pure, so it doesn't matter, I guess. But I am sorely disappointed in that place that I had had such hopes for.

Still thinking about the get together and how nice it was to meet so many real people. Fingerlakes sounds good for next time.
