Morning All,
I was visiting the CT thread this morning and someone posted the link to this skit that was on the Jay Leno show. So Funny! (And Cute too!)
I loved it. Especially the woman at the end nodding her head as she listened to guy describe how to "care" for them. Then runs over and grabs as many as she can!Lynzi,
This was hilarious. I just forwarded it to my son. The just add water skit was a riot. How gullible can people be?! Loved it!![]()

Yes, my first hatch, I am so excited, but a nervous wreck at the same time!
I know have 5 pips, and I had to open the membrane a tad on the first one, it was sealed shut after it already been punctured...
Woot! We need pics when they are out!! =)
My little peeps en masse today escaped the brooder. Not sure how, but I *think* it was a piece of misplaced cardboard (I use a large dog cage with cardboard along the bottom sides to keep them in.. but.. so I walked in today and chicks all over the bedroom. LOL.(and no, I don't sleep in there, it's a spare room lol).
Plus with a cold today I decided it would be a GREAT time to start cleaning out my largest coop. Bah. Wearing my respirator with a cold = major fail. Got some of it done AND noticed that I had been missing my leghorn eggs for two eggs - FOUND them!! they were in a big pile behind the nest box waaaay down deep. Had to toss them all - they were dirty and who knows how old. I have enough eggs.So then I was lugging and rearranging big heavy nestboxes to get rid of that gap.
It IS exciting! The hen I got from Tab went broody back in December.I decided to bring her inside and let her sit on the 6 she was sitting on. We got three chicks out of the 6. It was definitely a cool experience. I think this year I'm going to buy an incubator and try hatching some on our own. Good luck with the rest of your hatch! Tomorrow morning should be even more exciting for you!Yes, my first hatch, I am so excited, but a nervous wreck at the same time!
