Oh I didn't take it that way at all! LOL No biggie, I think she's got quite a few anyway for anyone else who IS looking. I'm going to contact her and see what it is she has exactly. I just ordered 5 chicks last night from CT, that will be shipped here in the next day or two and I got 2 blues, a black and two greys. But like CountryBoy stated, its going to stink waiting a year now for them to fully develop and even lay an egg!

Yes, it was the Southern NY thread, and she is on LI, but she was going to have them in CT, so I thought perhaps it could help...but you are all set, so that is great!

On another topic, I have been seeing what I thought were lots of worm holes especially in the chicken area...but saw that the 17 year cicadas are going to do their thing this year, and they make holes like that while they develop to the stage they emerge from the ground. Maybe we will have a few weeks of hi protein free live food? Wouldn't that be nice!

Edited to read few, not dew, and pushed the flag once by mistake. Need coffee.

OK I know this will sound crazy but has anyone ever heard of a pullet laying at 8 weeks old? This morning I got a really tiny egg, smaller than my banty eggs. Its brown and my other brown layers are all 4+ years old and have always laid huge eggs. I just recently put the 8 weeks old chicks in with the older ones. When I went to the coop all 3 Delawares jumped out of the nesting box and there sat a tiny little egg!? Am I crazy?!
