That is nice I hope my new dog is the same way. I thought my Dachshund would be a problem but he leaves them alone. My mini schnauzer tends to chase a little but easly called back. My new dog shepard mix seems to leave them alone but a pup and wants to play with them.
Gramma they usually carry tape worm amongst others, the cookies are just for me and my son imma cookie fiend!
Quote: I understand you dont want him attacking ..anyone
but A Pvc pipe or a stick might kill him if you hit him ...break his neck
How about a garden rake ? you might be able to give him a lift with that .
do you have a small cage to put him in ? you could handle him more ..take him out & put him back ..
things you can do to Roos ..
Hold them upside down ...or give them a bubble bath ...
try this : Give them less food ...they are more apt to eat the spilled food if they dont have food in their dish
Morning Everyone,
Listened to the symphony of roosters this morning while making my coffee. LOL Quite the orchestra we have out there now! It's raining here today, which is fine because we could use it. I'm really liking the pictures of the frizzles and sizzles, although I'm having a hard time telling them apart. What are the characteristics of one compared to the other? Maybe I'll add one some day and keep it with my silkies.
Sally ~ Is yours a sizzle or frizzle? Love the pic! I almost missed the little chick behind momma.
Pharm ~ Enjoy your day off with your daughter!!
Breella ~ Love the picture of your dog watching over the flock. I used to be so much more into photography than I am now. Once I had kids it all went down the pipe. I have a great camera, good programs on my PC, and these days, it's just easier to whip out my phone to get a quick pic. I still use the camera but the pictures usually sit and sit and sit until I find the time to upload them all, edit them, and share them where I want to share them.
Of course I'm online now instead working (like I should be) researching of all this as it's peaked my interest. Mostly because I have silkies and I know thats how you get the sizzles - by breeding a frizzle to a silkie? What I'm wondering though is, does it matter which is bred to which to get the sizzle? Like the does the Roo have to be the frizzle and hen a silkie or vise versa? Or does it not matter and you'll still end up with a sizzle regardless?Lynz, whenever you're ready for a frizzle just let me know. We have 10.
