This also made me think of Lynzi and her dilemma with the kids and her having to change shoes because of the chicken poo. Return your fencing and get this instead, just kidding.

No Thank you!!! Not only that but I would rather go back to changing baby diapers than those diapers!

Seriously though, how long could you keep one of those things on a chicken before having to change it?!? The thought just grosses me out!

very cool --my mom was a mary Margaret-- my step mom is a marsha marie---must be having an m name is cool!

Nanci Griffith sings a pretty song called "Light Beyond these Woods (Mary Margaret). I've always liked that name. It's so pretty (Irish?).

I ended up with my (married) last name beginning with an "M" as well...! So my initials are MMM (Mmm-Mmm good?) !!

OMG I hear ya when my son was a 1yr he'd just tip those suckers off. My diapers days were done before they started.

Well, I read about the illness and deaths of the dogs last night and had no words of comfort. I was the kid who would watch westerns on TV and see the cowboys and Indians slaughtered with no reaction, but would tear up when a horse was injured. Animals are the best. I am so sorry for all who are grieving.

Glasshen, you and I sound like kindred souls. I was much the same way as a kid and still cannot possibly imagine life without animals. And your words actually do bring comfort, thank you.

Those are some sassy and sporty chick-nappies. At the rate my girls go, they'd fill up pretty quickly. Yikes.

I have 25 ducks at the moment, 2 pekins, 5 khaki campbells, 1 mutt and the balance in Runners. I'll be 4 or 5 lighter before winter hits
