NY chicken lover!!!!

I'm on my phone so I can't see where you are located but if I recall are you in the Albany area? I'm heading to CT on the morning of the 25th of October and coming back on the 27th. I may be interested in some eggs if you had some around that time.

I'm about 30 minutes east of Albany. I should have lots of hatching eggs by then and some from my new hens I had shipped in from SD last month and I have frizzles laying again. They started back up today!!

New to the forum and in the process of building my first coop and live in the Catskills of N.Y. my wife and I have done quite a bit of googling however always interested on personal input. Any input with this crazy n.y. weather ? All is welcome

I wanna know too!!! As many eggs I've set from Silkies- I only kept 4 long enough to see how they matured before selling them. But I only ever got to set eggs from hatchery silkies.:/

I'll keep you in the loop too! These guys are gorgeous. I don't know if you've seen Pharm's birds, but the babies I got last hatch were stunning. One splash pullet in particular is beautiful. I may give showing her a try. I also have some from a breeder in Georgia - those are the eggs I got today.
