I have had a lovely Christmas Eve catching up on several pages of goings on. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. I think it is lovely to offer help when you are in position to do so. If someone declines the offer, so be it you offered. I don't get offended if someone wants to do it without my help. I feel good for offering, and they may feel good that someone cared to offer.

My last yoga class mentioned that expectations cause problems. If I have expectations of how something should go, and am invested in it going that way, I or others may be disturbed. If I can step back a little, and offer but not be invested in either outcome, it can work out better.

But, I hope that we will all have more eggs soon, and that the chicken deaths of the unplanned sort stop. I wish us all good health and happiness ....

What gets me is that the ground was frozen and it was easy to pull my wagon out to the coops. Now it's thawed and muddy again and if it snows to much and I have to blow the snow, the machine will get bogged down. Not something I'm looking forward to.

lol don't care who it is they made a bad idea. I finely had my yard back had it nice and easy then BAM it's white out there. At least now I have snow blower fixed so I just snow blow a path but was still easier when no snow. Not to mention I think plows hit my street and all around me maybe 1-2 times. The whole way to my mother inlaws only like 5 miles or so I'm sitting there thinking "when did they put in gravel roads?". If the plows did drive through I'm not sure they dropped the blade.

Well beside me complaining here about snow not to bad here. I did just have my first blood ring with an embryo in it. Normally its before it forms days 1-5ish. on day 13 now.

I do not "feel" anything. I've experienced it first hand. I am not biased either. I just tried to EXPLAIN why SOME men may not offer to assist a woman. I was not condoning it. I am quite "enlightened" I assure you. There have been some unpleasant side effects of the "women's liberation movement." "Some" men, not feeling they need to treat women as dainty, need to be cared for things is one of them. You may not like how I see things, but you should at least respect them.

I personally offer to assist anyone whether male or female from time to time. Even though I may be subjected to a rebuff from time to time. I don't however feel obligated to do so. I believe everyone should be treated with respect. Even me.

I also believe your last remark about my heart was mean spirited!

No mean spirit intended, only good will with the intent that whatever pain was caused by the "women's liberation movement" or the whatever the high school girls did that was "not very encouraging" (post29948) did to you could be healed. Frankly,I am totally confused when you say ""Some" men, not feeling they need to treat women as dainty, need to be cared for things is one of them " And as for respect goes, your comment,about women(post #29934 )was disrespectful toward women(sisters). You want respect, yet it was not given. You may make any comment that you choose and "see things" any way you like. I do not care whether you respect my thoughts, ideas or whatever. What is needed is to act and speak respectfully . That is the missing ingredient. As long as women are disparaged, it will be offensive.

LMAO we didn't wrap anything until tonight.

Well I'm still on the search for Black indian runner hatching eggs for the easter hatch along so if anyone sees someone selling take they're name and number so I can get them later thanks. I've had a few leads but it's ether they don't sell hatching eggs only ducks or they don't have black just 2-4 other colors. Google has failed me all I find on there are UK or AU clubs for ducks or runners.

I have runners. I can't guarantee that you'll get all black but I have a black drake and duck along with blue/chocolate and white. I'm sure I could set you up with some eggs or even ducklings in the spring when I start hatching again. It's too much of a pain in the winter, I don't always get the eggs before they get cold or frozen.
