Quote: Can you feed them at night ...so they come in ? or are there treats that they love that will get their butts off the pond ?
I dont remember seeing a pond at your house .
o I forgot to label. This little one is a Russian Orloff and the big black and white is a much older Mottled Java Pullet. That little Orloff pullet is very sweet she always snuggles up to the Java and the Java mother all the chicks already.
The Orloff are 4 and 5 weeks old now and getting really pretty. They act like little pups. The Brabanter is the one laying in back there, she is coming around and acting more civilized now.
I sure can. You aren't going to chickenstock are you? How close to Rome are you? If I don't have one by then I could get him then. Sorry to hear you're spending Easter alone. We normally would but my fiancé decided last minute to try and repair his relationship with his mother. It was one of his fathers last wishes before he passed that he try and make things better. So we showed up unannounced and it seems to be going ok. Of course now my families ****** cause we bailed on Easter. Fortunately we live close to them and they are more forgiving than his mom.Quote:
Ugh, we are actually home (we don't have anybody to celebrate Easter with, lol), but I can't let him go *just* yet. I need to see what hatches on the 29th. I might still need him if I don't get a few chicks out of him from the eggs I have cooking. Can you wait just a bit?
