I'm afraid of show girls!!!

I'll have my usual suspects..... Ameraucanas, Project Lav Orps & Silkies. Maybe a few Dorkings.

I'll have a couple of young turken roos available in a week or two. Will post pics when it's time - still waiting to see which one I want to keep, but I *think* I have three roos- not 100% yet. They have pretty big combs, but not bright red. So someone could make their own showgirls, I guess.

C'mon, you KNOW you want a turken roo! Scare your neighbors!!

Weather keeps saying rain, but then nothing happens. So I've managed to mow my garden area, try to get some fencing started, clean out a few coops. Still have to finish the fencing, put plants in, etc. OH, and my broody has pips and is staying on the nest. So some cute little EE mutt chicks might be incoming! Keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't eat them.

I wish some of these auctions were near me! I am thinking about trying the schuylerville auction in about two weeks if anyone is planning to go to that one. More baby roos to relocate!

I haven't gone yet, but if it's every weekend I am thinking there are fewer buyers.

My broody hatched out three babies! All three are EExCochin - for some reason my greenie eggs always seem to hatch including the one I put tape on that the hen had discarded. Put it back under her when it started peeping and voila! chick! Like I need more chicks. LOL.

Ordered some Chanteclers, should have been shipped yesterday. I hate the waiting and wondering if they are ok. They need their nice warm brooder and food in their tiny tummies! Stopped at the PO and told them they were on the way. The girls there always ask to see them before I go.
