Any feed mill can order DE.

Its much less expensive to irder in 50 lb. bags. It seems like a lot, but it has so many uses. 1 bag last me a year.
Ask for Diatomaceous Earth.

I thought I'd post this first here. I am going to sell my flock of Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas after next week.

5 hens &1 rooster all blue wheaten. I've been getting wheaten & blue wheaten chicks.
3 hens are 1 year old, 2 are 2 years old and the rooster is 6 months old.
I am making room for my new chicks.

I gave the wrong store. My husband purchases feed etc from Tractor Supply and I ASSUMED. ..he had purchased the Diatomaceous Earth there. NO

He purchased from Holland Patent Farmer's Co-op and Store 315.865.5281. SORRY, I don't make a habit of assuming. Aria

oH, OK, I'm still kinda new to this byc stuff!

I'm down to just a pair of Narragansett turkeys....I would like to place them. I'm willing to let them go for $95. I paid more than that last fall.

They are a year old, and the hen laid eggs in January, and just finished molting...I don't understand what happened this year. All my birds decided to start molting in March.

Of course now, the eggs are coming fast & furious....

I think it might be because I had them under lights all winter. I think next winter, I will leave them without the lights and start up in the spring.
