NY chicken lover!!!!

Meeting with someone next week when they return from vacation to see if it's a good fit for my chickens. He lives right in Woodstock, maybe a 10-15 min drive from me. Raises chickens that free range all day and says he has plenty of space and storage for my birds. Fingers crossed this is a good match. All he would want in return is help with his chickens if they were to ever go away for a weekend or vacation or whatnot. I have no problem doing that at all! Wish me luck! I miss my birds!!!

How old Sweatpea? Looks like a hen to me. I don't see any streamers. The crest looks nice and round. I have hens with a small comb like that one. You wanna keep an eye on the wattles now that the comb is that size. If they get bigger and more mulberry in color it's a roo. But so far to me it looks like a hen. Age would help though too.

Only 9 people have ordered so far, thought there'd be way more chicken people out there ordering them. I ordered the bunny one for my friend and there were 63 over a goal of 30 orders placed.

I thought of that after I said it...then I heard something in the "barnyard" and went to find out who was irritating whom....and didn't get to amend my suggestion before you replied.

Let's just hope that anyone who decides to order one, cuz I really want mine too, quotes your post and brings the link forward like my quote did.

I posted it to FB in one of the groups I belong to as well. Hopefully it will get some hits there. I love when people do these teespring things. Last one I ordered was for Breast Cancer but it had a Doxie on it and said "Paws for the Cure" the doxie was pink covered in ribbons.

I haven't gotten the one I ordered yet....I can't wait. On the front it says "Home Health Aide" and on the back it says "because Super Woman isn't a job title" LOL

I can take the chicks from my sumatra & or pick her up . She is very tame .for me
I sometimes pick them up to get her to follow me . for bed time . they are out with the flock free ranging ...but up next to the house .
Dot has been renamed Marker...As it has these 4 black spots like it got marked with a marker.
Marker was in the incubator .Ti Ti stopped laying on the eggs a couple of days after the 2 hatched ..
if my son does pick up a chick .. though watch out !
