NY chicken lover!!!!

I plan on being at chicken stock, but don't feel comfortable doing a demo. I'm a super-novice and am still learning. The birds for caponizing are culls & will be processed eventually anyway. Hopefully with their little nuggets removed they won't beat on each other or their pullet hatch mates as much while they are growing out.

Currently procrastinating....

No worries, maybe next year :)

So I am a big softie!

Yesterday I walked down to my local hardware (car wouldn't start)in search of a friend for my lone cochin hatchling well I came back with 3 meaties, today I went in for screws and there were 8 still in need of a home, well you guess where they are now.
Yup hot water here we come lol

Lets play can you find the happy bantam Cochin, almost as fun as wow someone needs to clean there brooder shed, that is tomorrow's job, getting bags of leaves and doing all the coops and houses

Actually he was being good and let me get a few nice ones, including him dancing for a hen. I think he's beautiful but she wasn't as impressed.

And my guinea today decided it was a good idea to pick a fight with the broody whose chicks are due in a couple days. I don't think he'll do it again.

How long does it take to wash 5 silkies? Almost 2 hours. I don't know who got more water, them or me! While they were drying in the sun I cleaned the coop and dusted everything. Legoland crew gets bathed tomorrow. They look so oops good all clean and fluffy!!!
